Kilinga Bacanora is an agave spirit native to Sonora, Mexico. Over 300 years, it’s been outlawed, forgotten, but never extinguished. Now it’s being shared outside of Mexico for the first time.
This exquisite drink combines the bold, smoky, and earthy flavors of Kilinga Blanco, the smoothness of peach nectar, and a touch of Peach Schnapps to create a symphony of taste.

Micheladas take beer and elevate it. There are typically two versions of the Michelada. Beer served with spicy tomato / clamato juice, or beer served with fresh lime juice and a rim of salt, chili and citrus. Now there’s a third way, the Kilinga way. Light and dry with just a hint of smoke, Kilinga Bacanora Blanco is perfect for this little twist on the most refreshing and famous of Mexico’s cocktails, the Paloma.
Instead of grapefruit, the citrus star of this version is the kumquat, a delicious little orange that grows abundantly in Sonora. (If you can’t get your hands on kumquat jam, replace it with orange marmalade and orange slices to garnish).
A more subtle recipe than the classic Paloma, this version really allows the quality and character of Kilinga to shine through.
